This project explores mycelium-textile hybrids by developing filaments made of mycelium and cotton bandages of varying weave structures. Through material testing, we analyzed how textile types influence adhesion and strength, refining weaving patterns for optimal integration. Using these insights, we suspended and wove a network of mycelium filaments—strategically placing them for stability and texture—to create a biodegradable mycelium chair structure.
